When you look at the title of this article, and I have see many others like it from multiple news feeds, Christians get the impression that their prayers in this tragedy are not welcome. The article even says “The only time Southern Baptists can name LGBT people is when they’re rejecting them.”
People all over social media are up in arms that Christians aren’t changing their facebook icons to show support for this tragedy. That we Christians are not doing enough but then the things that we do in fact do is demonized. This is because people are so cognitively deceived by the world that they cannot see the truth evil.
Florida attorneys have already started to try to build cases against Christians for “hate” speech just like what happened in Canada. They are going after gun ownership because an assault rifle was used. Anything but the real issue of Isalm and you wonder why Christians aren’t changing their fakebook page (no not a typo).
There was a facebook post yesterday that really disturbed me. I mean disturbed and not convicted:
They don’t see the Wednesday night prayer services or hear the prayer phone message going out to unite churches across the country (such as: Citywide Prayer Service Held in Orlando) in prayer for this one incident. AND THEY TELL US NOT TO JUDGE! (even though we do have a divine command to do so)
Isaiah 5:20King James Version (KJV)
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
