Police: Girl, 14, slits teen’s throat in hope of 1st kill | Fox News

TRUTH BOMBS: NO, these kids today aren’t influenced in any negative way by the movies, tv, and music they subscribe to [sarcasm]. Media is only producing upstanding, respectful, moral children that will lead a bright path into the future…..vomit! Wake up people. ” And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.Matthew 24:11-13 (KJV)

ARTICLE:A 14-year-old Wisconsin girl tried to kill her brother’s girlfriend, slitting her throat and telling her during the attack that she was a psychopath looking for her first kill, according to investigators.

Kali Jade Bookey of New Richmond, a city of 8,400 people about 35 miles east of Minneapolis, was charged as an adult Thursday with attempted first-degree intentional homicide. She was being held without bail Friday in juvenile custody pending a preliminary hearing Aug. 8. Her attorney, Barbara Miller, didn’t immediately respond to an email or a voicemail seeking comment.

According to a criminal complaint, which the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram first reported about, Bookey called the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday morning to report that two men in a green pickup truck had tried to abduct her while she was riding her bike.

She told the men that her brother’s girlfriend was home alone and they should take her instead. Deputies responded to the girlfriend’s trailer and found her in a bedroom bleeding profusely. The 15-year-old girl was taken by ambulance to a hospital.

There, she told investigators that Bookey had attacked her. She said she was sleeping in her bedroom when Bookey, dressed in black, appeared in her room and put her hands over her mouth. A struggle ensued and Bookey punched her in the face multiple times and broke two bowls over her head. Bookey used one of the bowl shards to cut her and slit her throat, she said.

The victim said Bookey asked her if she wanted to die or bleed out, so she opted to bleed out, the complaint states. Bookey told the victim she had been biking by her house and noting the times when she was alone, and she described herself as a crazy psychopath looking for her first kill, saying she probably would kill again. Bookey then told her to “have a nice afterlife” and left the trailer

French lawmakers told Bataclan terrorists tortured, disemboweled victims | Fox News

TRUTH BOMBS: Islam is fundamentally evil through it’s own teachings and the example of it’s own Prophet. Those who call themselves Islamic and do not wage jihad are in fact blaspheming their own prophet because he did far worse and taught other to do so.

ARTICLE: A French government committee has heard testimony, suppressed by the French government at the time and not published online until this week, that the killers in the Bataclan tortured their victims on the second floor of the club.

The chief police witness in Parliament said that an investigating officer, tears streaming down his face, rushed out of the Bataclan and vomited in front of him just after seeing the disfigured bodies.

According to this testimony, Wahhabist killers apparently gouged out eyes, castrated victims, and shoved their testicles in their mouths. They may also have disemboweled some poor souls. Women were stabbed in the genitals – and the torture was, victims told police, filmed for Daesh or Islamic State propaganda. For that reason, medics did not release the bodies of torture victims to the families, investigators said.

But prosecutors claimed these reports of torture were “a rumor” on the grounds that sharp knives were not found at the scene. They also claimed that maybe shrapnel had caused the injuries.

Archaeology Shows Accuracy of Scripture: Luke’s Account of Mob at Ephesus in Acts 19

TRUTH BOMBS: I recently did a full study on this topic of evidence for the accuracy of the scriptures. I will need to add this one.

ARTICLE: If you want an accurate picture of life in the first century AD, archaeology shows us that you can’t do much better than the book of Acts.Acts 19 starts with Paul leaving Apollos in charge of the church in Corinth while he continues his missionary journey. It ends with Paul’s encounter with an angry mob. And, as a recent article in Biblical Archaeological Review tells us, it’s a very reliable depiction of life in the Roman world.Upon his arrival in Ephesus, Paul meets some believers whose instruction was incomplete. He teaches them about the Holy Spirit and baptizes them in the name of the Lord Jesus. But then things get interesting.Paul’s message offends both the Jewish and Gentile establishments in what was either the second or third largest city in the Roman Empire. The response of some people in the synagogue was the usual: obstinacy, disbelief, and disparagement. But for the Gentiles, the problem was literally closer to home: their pocketbooks. What Acts calls “a serious disturbance” broke out when a silversmith named Demetrius told his fellow silversmiths that Paul’s monotheism was bad for business. To understand why, it helps to understand what made Ephesus famous: a shrine to Artemis, also known as “Diana,” the goddess associated with, among other things, childbirth, children, virginity and the hunt.Actually calling the temple to Artemis in Ephesus a “shrine” is a gross understatement. The temple was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. At 425 feet long by 200 feet wide, it was four times the size of the Parthenon. The structure was held by 127 columns that were 60 feet tall and 7 feet in diameter. That meant anything—including Paul and his gospel of the risen Jesus—calling into question the cult of Artemis not only threatened their livelihood, it also threatened Ephesus’s stature within the Empire. So the good people of Ephesus rioted, yelling “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians.”As the article shows, the account of Paul’s adventures in Ephesus is filled with details that demonstrate intimate knowledge about Ephesus and its way of life. For instance, the reference to silversmiths. In 1984, a monument was discovered that corroborated Luke’s account of their prominence in Ephesus. The inscription stated that the monument had been paid for by the silversmiths and called their city the “greatest metropolis of Asia, [and] the thrice-honored temple guardian of the venerable Ephesians.”In others words, theirs was a status quo worth rioting to preserve. Note that both the inscription and Acts 19 uses the same Greek word, neokoros, “guardian,” in describing Ephesus’s relationship to the temple cult. Then there’s the seemingly-obscure reference to “the great Artemis and of her image that fell from the sky.” As Biblical Archaeological Review tells readers, “The origin of Ephesian Artemis is traditionally associated with a meteorite that was worshiped in early Ephesus.”As the article concludes, “Luke knew what he was talking about in recording the riot in the theater. His claim at the outset of the two-part work (Luke and Acts) to have ‘investigated everything accurately and reported them orderly’ is substantiated in Acts 19.”As the brilliant comic actor Kenneth Mars said in Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein, “A riot is an ugly thing.” But a riot that substantiates the historicity of the Acts of the Apostles? Well, that’s a beautiful thing.

Anglican Church of Canada Adopts Gay Marriage, Endangers Future of Faith

TRUTH BOMBS: What do you mean “endangers” faith? If you don’t believe what Christ believes, and don’t obey what Christ commands then YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN. Their faith is not endangered, it was dead long ago.

ARTICLE: At the General Synod of The Anglican Church of Canada, held July 7-12, a proposal to allow the Canadian Anglican ministry to solemnize same-sex marriages was voted upon and was reported to have failed by a single vote. The next day, however, it was reported that there had been a counting error and that the measure actually had passed. Thus, by the closes of margins, the Anglican Church of Canada approved same-sex marriage. The resolution provides that: “A minister may only solemnize a marriage between persons of the same sex if authorized by the diocesan bishop … .” It also substitutes “partners” for “husband and wife” and replaces “a man and a woman” with “the parties to the marriage.”The issue was a unity-breaker. Some clergy walked out of the Synod in protest to the raising of such a divisive issue. When it was reported that the proposal had failed, some bishops rebelled saying that they would conduct same-sex marriage ceremonies anyway. When it was reported that the measure had passed, one church member wrote a letter expressing his dismay over the Synod’s failure “to defend one of the most fundamental doctrines of the church as made clear by Scripture, tradition and reason.”The Reverend Dr. Joseph Boot, founder of the Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity describes that decision as “madness.” He describes the decision to endorse same-sex marriage and evidence of the Canadian church’s “faithless and apostate leadership,” and advised: “True Christians must get out.”It is surprising that such a monumental change in a fundamental matter of core religious doctrine as the definition and meaning of “marriage” can be made by a mere majority vote. In this instance, the vote was so close that the outcome was allegedly misreported one day and was changed the next day. That rather trivializes and tarnishes notions like Eternal Principles, and Unchanging Gospel Truths. The Canadian Anglican church is not the only faith community to approve of same-sex marriage. In December 2012, the Pew Research Center reported that four (of sixteen) major faiths in the United States approve of same-sex marriage, and three other faiths offer optional (or local) support.Likewise, Pew Research reported that in October 2011, most Americans (46%-44%) favored legalizing same-sex marriage most Protestants (58%) and many Catholics (37%) opposed same-sex marriage.Of course, it is for Canadian Anglicans themselves to determine what they believe. All others – the rest of us – must respect and defend the right of members of any faith to make their own decisions about their doctrines and rites. We must repeat the old saying: “I disagree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” Such respectful tolerance for others’ differing views is especially important in the matters of religious beliefs.Yet even while respecting the right of others to express their own views, it is equally important that those who disagree with those views respectfully express their different, even opposing views. To self-censor and not object is one form of disrespect for the others and their view. Such silence expresses a form of contempt, conveying the message that the disapproved views and those who express them are unworthy of being engaged, much less of being corrected and taught the truth.Religion and family have been closely linked over millennia. When major faith groups abandon the historic, faith-centered, church-protected understanding of marriage and the union of a man and a woman, the future of marriage as a gender-integrating social institution, the foundation of family – the protection of parenting, the cornerstone of the basic unit of society – is undeniably threatened. Likewise, when such a revolutionary deconstruction-and-reconstruction of the meaning of marriage is adopted by churches, the integrity and the future of those faith communities are endangered. If churches fail to defend and are unfaithful to their role to protect the scriptural meaning of marriage and marital families, why should not families abandon such religions? The notion of marriage as the union of a man and a woman is one of the first religious principles-institutions-rites described in the oldest, earliest book of canonized Judeo-Christian scripture. We live in a time of many changing values; our world is buffeted by many powerful change agents. Yet Christ famously said about the meaning of marriage – “What therefore God hath joined together let not man put asunder.” Mark 10:9 (KJV). Some core institutions of society must be stable. Marriage is one of them. Constancy and stability in the meaning, functions and purposes of marriage protects married couples, promotes the welfare of children, and benefits society. The radical doctrinal decision of the Canadian Anglican church to redefine marriage diminishes marriage, weakens that church, and disserves the society of Canada. Families and persons of faith in Canada deserve better.
