FOUR churches have been forced to shut down after angry protestors attacked the premises, amid rising fears of a worldwide crackdown on Christianity.
In recent weeks, hardline Islamic extremists have carried out a spate of attacks against four churches in Egypt, persecution watchdog International Christian Concern (ICC) has reported. All four churches were in the midst of seeking official recognition from the state to carry out worship services. Following protestors’ demands, Egyptian authorities closed down the churches and denied Christians the right to carry out public worship services. On 7 January, which is Egypt’s Orthodox Christmas, more than 1,000 of furious extremists gathered outside Mar Girgis Church in the village of Manshiyet Zafarana.

An Islamic State video just released in late December showed the White House being attacked. Clearly this is something the Islamic State very much wanted to do. Meanwhile, “a community member” contacted law enforcement on Hasher Jallal Taheb, and that’s good. Imagine what might have happened if this person hadn’t done so. But where did Hasher learn his understanding of Islam? Will anyone be investigating that? Or will they wave it away with “he was radicalized on the Internet”?

The photograph of a Muslim wearing a sweatshirt emblazoned “DIVERSITY” as he is arrested for a jihad plot by heavily armed police is a candent summation of the predicament of the West today.
Anyway, one detainee’s roommate said that the arrested man “has never shown terrorist attitudes.” “He does not even pray.”
The roommate clearly knows what the mainstream counterterror analysts deny, that there is a connection between devoutness in Islam and involvement in jihad terror. Not all devout Muslims are jihad terrorists, but all jihad terrorists are devout Muslims. In this case, it is likely to come out that the jihadist who didn’t even pray did actually pray, but was following the Islamic State’s instructions to appear secular in the West, avoiding mosques, not carrying at Qur’an, etc. Or else he had a recent return to his religion, deciding to try to compensate for his sins by doing the deed that Muhammad said was the greatest of all: jihad.
