While Dorsey told a hearing before the House Energy and Commerce Committee last September that Twitter did not consider the political views of users it bans, he boasted in an interview this week entirely on Twitter with Recode co-founder Kara Swisher about Twitter’s ban on users who engage in so-called “misgendering” of transgender people.

Ontario’s attorney general is pursuing an indictment against Bill Whatcott for distributing information about the dangers of homosexual actions.
“My alleged crime is preaching the Gospel and sharing accurate information on the dangers of homosexuality at the Toronto homosexual Pride Parade in 2016,” Whatcott said in a live Facebook post before his court appearance.

A man who formerly lived as a transgender woman and who had sex-reassignment surgery is speaking up about how he regrets the changes he made.
Many other people like him exist, he says, but their voices are not given a platform.
“Had I not been misled by media stories of sex change ‘success’ and by medical practitioners who said transitioning was the answer to my problems, I wouldn’t have suffered as I have,” Walt Heyer writes in a column on USA Today’s website. “Genetics can’t be changed. Feelings, however, can and do change. Underlying issues often drive the desire to escape one’s life into another, and they need to be addressed before taking the radical step of transition.”

The University of Iowa cannot remove a Christian student group’s registered status after the group prohibited a gay student from a leadership role, a federal court has ruled.
U.S. District Judge Stephanie M. Rose approved a permanent injunction that forces the University of Iowa to reverse its decision and recognize Business Leaders in Christ as a registered student organization.
